Love of Kindred

Like so many families, we hold dearest the times we have together during the Christmas holidays. I’m sharing today some of our highlights! We ate way too much rich food. We played Arizona Monopoly and I won! Susanna proudly gave a gift to her Papa, a pink flamingo, that was drawn with her handprint! We enjoyed Susanna’s delight at seeing Mickey Mouse at the Red Rock Fantasy Light Show. I love having my family near this week!

    Your family is so beautiful...

    I love your pictures and Susanna is a little heart-breaker for sure. She looks just like her Mama.

    There is nothing greater or more fulfilling than having such special times with our families with our Lord in the center of it all and you my precious friend along with your family radiate with His light and love for each other and all who have come to know you here or wherever you go.

    Oh how very precious it is to see your sweet family and oh my...your Susanna is just darling!! I know exactly how you feel...there is NOTHING better than having all of your family together! Truly the best gift the Lord could give us isn't it :)

    I love the pictures too! It is always so good to see the families and that Susannah is such a little doll! I know your days were precious... ours too.

I remember when we sold one of our homes to a dancer who starred in one of the popular TV programs from the sixties. She decided to move to her Sedona property. She shared many things with me about Hollywood during each phase of the construction like when she dated Elvis. Personally, I’ve never been an Elvis fan, so I wasn’t impressed if he was a good kisser or not. The dancer married several times but now she found the dream man and now wanted the dream home. During one of her visits to my office, I was celebrating a wedding anniversary. I was taken aback when she asked me a personal question. What is the secret to a long- lasting marriage? I'm Going as Abigail This Year

I vote for more purses, toothbrushes, cups, storybooks, and Halloween costumes that feature Abigail of the Old Testament.  She is a heroin worthy to emulate, in my opinion, even more than Cinderella. Once upon a time, there was a kind woman by the name of Abigail who lived with a surly man who liked to drink a lot and have parties.  One time, King David and his army were very hungry and entered the surly man’s homestead and asked if they could come to his barbecue.  The king had a right to ask because he and his men protected the homestead’s boundary lines.  The surly man said “No.  Get off my property.”  The King had a temper and became offended.
