He replied, “Whether
he is a sinner or not, I don’t know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I
see!” John 9:25
Do you remember that guy in the gospel whom Jesus touched
and though he was born blind, he was able to see? The teachers of the law were irate and gave
him a hard time, but he shrugged his shoulders and said, “All I can tell you is
that I couldn’t see, but I’m seeing now!”
That’s how I feel today. I can
really relate to this guy.
At work yesterday, I backed up my photo files from my laptop
onto a CD. In the evening, I
turned on my laptop only to find out that I could not type. My m’s, for instance, were 6’s, etc. I asked my husband to Google this problem on
his desktop since I couldn’t type. For
30 minutes we tried to follow directions using the Nmlk key and shutting down
and booting up tons of times. Stumped,
he gave up, and my laptop rested in my lap.
I didn’t know what to do.
This is where it gets weird and the cynics laugh. In my technological ignorance, I prayed that
Jesus would show me what to do. I
followed up my little prayer of faith with action and pressed the Scrlk key just
for the heck of it and walla….I could type again. No technological help line or instruction
booklet saved me, but prayer. What can
I say except that I didn’t know what to do about not being able to type and
then I was typing!
Coincidence? There’s
no such word as coincidence in Hebrew.
We believe that Jesus is always with us and willing to help; He
cares about every detail of our lives!

ReplyDeleteGod answers our simple prayers in ways we often do not expect. I am thankful that He always hears us and is ready to assist. I too have pushed the caps lock and my password would not work, Soon God helped me to see the answer to a simple problem. Look at all the lights on your computer and see if they are telling you something. Thank you for sharing at Tell me a Story.
