I found this love letter on Bren's Blog a while back and I had to have it. I emailed it to my friends and my family. They were as impressed with it as I was. I guess a lot of us are determined to love others more deeply in the coming year. One gal, a teacher, wrote me that she is placing this on her desk to help her understand her students and to work on her own self. Another, a counselor, wrote me that she is reading it often to love her clients with the love of Jesus. Another girl is a manager and used it in her staff meeting with copies for everyone. My daughter put hers on Facebook.
For more wonderful expressions of the love of Jesus, be sure to drop by Spiritual Sundays, hosted by Ginger and Charlotte. I wish you all a very Happy Valentine's Day.

Beth

Hi Saleslady 371 -
ReplyDeleteGreat reminder indeed.
Thank you for the LOVE, lady!
That's truly a beautiful reminder. Thanks for sharing sister Mary. Thank you for keeping me in your prayers. It will be a long battle for me but I trust in the Lord knowing it's not mine but His. The cyber cupcakes were delicious but it's awful, I had a total of 5-6 cups of coffee! God bless!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great letter. How much better this world would be if we would put ourselves in other people's shoes and try to understand why they say and do the things they say and do. Thank you for sharing it with us.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Charlotte
Hi Mary,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing this Love Letter. It serves as a reminder of what Paul wrote about in 1 Corinthians 13, where he describes love using terms such as, Love is, It does not, it is not, it keeps no record, It always, and never fails.
Sending you and family a Happy Valentine's Day.
Blessings and peace.

Wow, Mary - this was great.
ReplyDeleteIt especially spoke to me as I think about my father. He is getting rather "difficult" in his old age. It was good for me to read some of the reasons for his behavior.
Happy Valentine's Day to you and yours.
May the love of God FLOOD your life!!
GOD BLESS!
This is great! I plan on sharing it with others.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your expression of love and encouragement for my father. He received your sweet card!
Hugs...
Do you suppose there's such a thing as "too much love"? I doubt it. How wonderful to capture such beauty in the form of a letter; and also in the witness of our hearts to God's amazing affections.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Kathleen
Beautiful post and music.
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentines Day!
Printing...keeping...at my computer. Thank you so much. Sometimes in order to love unconditionally, it entails knowing what the conditions are.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you, and may He fill your heart with love this Valentines day!
This is touching, and so true. How quick and how good I can be at judging others according to my standards, forgetting that if I were in their shoes, maybe I would do the same.
ReplyDeleteThank you Mary for your posts that always touch my heart.
Love
Lidj
Still praying for you and your daughter and granddaughter!
ReplyDeleteGod's blessing and surrounding of believers in their lives!
Choosing JOY in this season,
