I understand how people get hit head on while driving into the glare of the morning sun. We had to leave an hour earlier to get to the office and prepare for a closing on a sale yesterday. I was the driver and I did not see the semi coming because of the bright early morning sun and I hesitated upon entering the highway because my vision was impaired. My husband was able to see better on the passenger’s side and he warned me.
Today and tomorrow are two feast days celebrated by the Occult World. As a Christian, I’m taking precaution. This is a great time to reflect on the blood of Jesus and pray protection over our family members.
Perry Stone taught an interesting teaching this week. He listed occult feast days: February 2, May 1, August 1, September 21, October 31 and November 1. Perry noticed an increase against Christians during these times of physical attacks, hindrances, accidents, depression, and spiritual warfare. He suggested we pray a covering over our families referring to the blood of Jesus and also bind and loose in the Name of Jesus. The demons cannot curse what God has blessed.
Not only in this fall season, but it is always worthwhile to reflect on Ephesians 3: 3-10 which talks about the mystery of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross which was hidden to previous generations. If Satan had known just how powerful the blood sacrifice of Jesus was, he would have tried to prevent it. For a short time, he thought he was the victorious one, but oh, our savior rose from the dead! I’m so grateful for the power and protection of the blood of Jesus today!
A special thank you to Charlotte and Ginger for their faithfulness to host Spiritual Sundays, a great place to be inspired by Christian bloggers.
I know what you mean. Just going home from work this morning, even with the shades and my car's visor sometimes are not enough to help me see clearly. So, I keep distance from the car in front of me and just thanked God that it was just a one way traffic on that freeway.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you brought up about these battle and actually don't feel good about it. Lord, cover us all with Your Holy Blood and protect us with Your angels, not only today but everyday. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.
Have a safe weekend sister and God bless. Love you in Christ.
Yes, because of the blood of Jesus, the occult world is powerless against us. Praise HIM for His lovely LIGHT!
ReplyDeleteAmen! Where the enemy is concerned we need to be on the offense instead of the defense. Thanks for a timely post!
ReplyDeleteAmen, We are in a spiritual warfare, everyday and especially now. Thank you for sharing this. Great post.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sue
This is so interesting! I never realized that today and tomorrow were considered feast days by the Occult World.
ReplyDeleteFor some (unexplicable) reason, this afternoon I became soooo "down in the dumps." After reading this post, I immediately asked Jesus for a "prayer covering."
Thank you for your wise counsel, Mary.
Have a bright and blessed S/S!
My comments were going to be just the same as the one before me. Thank you so much for sharing all of this with us!
ReplyDeleteI'm just so glad that your husband was able to help you navigate against that glare. Be safe my friend.
ReplyDeleteLove you,
Debbie
I'm glad you that you and your husband are safe. I tend to pray a lot when I'm driving. We need to pray so hard for non believers, and for people who believe but choose to follow satin. Spiritual warfare is such a scary thing to me.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless,
Ginger
OH~~~ I forgot to tell you how beautiful your new banner is:)
ReplyDeleteGinger
Amen! Great thoughts ~
ReplyDeleteMary,
ReplyDeleteMy husband sat our kids down this week and shared this with our kids wanting them to know and understand the history of this day so that they were aware of the practices of its people. To be aware and asking the Lord for discernment. Praying for protection as well. I am so thankful for him teaching this to our family!
Thankyou for sharing this with us. Bless you my friend! I love you
Hi My Dear Friend,
ReplyDelete"I’m so grateful for the power and protection of the blood of Jesus today!"...And I as well Mary.
There is so much going on in this fallen world today. Thank you for reminding me of this and for such a powerful, powerful post.
I love you my sweet friend and sister.
Hugs, Blessings & Prayers,
Alleluiabelle
This is a great post. I didn't know about all the feasts of the occult, and just learned a little more of Halloween. I sometimes watch Perry, and always find his teaching very sound. Thanks for sharing this...and so glad your husband was with you to protect you both.
ReplyDeleteGod bless,
Mary
I praise God for His Son light that never grows dim. I love you.
ReplyDeleteThis was a great post. And you are so right, we have to be prepared everyday to fight the spiritual warfare that goes on around us everyday. Praise God the victory is His. Blessings to you, Debbie
ReplyDeleteAmen to your post, sister Mary! My hubby and I have never participated in Halloween because of the occult practices involved. It baffles me how Christians are so unaware of this. Thanks for sharing. Lord Jesus, please cover us in Your precious blood and may we be children of Light and not darkness.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sandi
"Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world." Amen!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Mary!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing today. As always I love to read what you have shared.
I missed you Friday at the luncheon. I am so sorry you and Debbie were not able to make it. I so enjoyed visiting with you at the last one. We are going to have another one in February I believe, and hopefully you will get to come then.
Thank you for your prayers and kind words of late. I am getting back to writing again. Hope to hear from you soon.
Country hugs and love, Sherry
I was so very nice to meet you. I thank you for speaking the truth about Occult Feast Days. People often ask me why I don't celebrate Halloween. I tell them it is not cute and fun, when you deal with something based in evil. There are so many God truths that we are losing sight of. I pray for our youth because they are targeted through media and the internet.
ReplyDeleteMay the precious blood of Jesus Christ protect us all.
Yoli
Great post! Just timely.
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed week.
I am so glad that your husband was able to see and warn you Mary!
ReplyDeleteAmen It is definitely a great time to reflect, call on and use the blood of Jesus over our lives. Thanks for this post Mary!
Amen!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jesus for your powerful Blood and Divine Protection!
Have a blessed and "hidden in the secret place week"!
Sweet Blessings!
Jackie
Beautiful passage of scripture. In fact, I just went and read the rest of the chapter too. ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd I know what you mean about the sun being low in the horizon. I drove to another city once and got there just as the sun was sitting above the horizon. I could not see a thing!
Wonderful reminder of the protection we have in Christ and in the victory His blood won for us.
Great post for the Halloween weekend. The older I get the more I dislike the holiday. Why do Christians want to honor witches and demons?
ReplyDeleteI'm way behind in visiting S.S. posts.
Hope you're having a good week.
Charlotte
The older I get the more Halloween looks evil, oh, I do give out candy to the neighborhood kids just as I was given candy by my neighbors when I was a child...but there is just something creepy about the way this particular time of year has gotten more and more popular. Thanks for letting us know about the occult feast days...I had no idea about that. Thank you Jesus for your redeeming blood.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Jean
