Outside my window…a haze of thick smoke hangs over my town and pinches my eyes. Over 20,000 acres of our beloved Sedona canyon has burned. I remember…hiking in West fork (Sedona) with my family. I am so sad that so much beauty has burned away. I am hoping…the contractor can complete repairs at my daughter’s home today. I was surprised when…an author friend challenged me to privately journal about this statement: “Ask God to show you how He sees you.” This is not as easy as it looks. I am stressful…about the results of my eye exam last week. It’s time for bi-focals and this may take some getting use to! I am thankful…I was able to spend time with my family over Memorial Day weekend. Notice this Agave plant. The flowers shot up at least 20 feet. The sap from some species of this succulent are used to make Tequila. Photo was taken at my daughter and son-in-law's home. The plant has not bloomed for 17 years!
