Love Like a Valentine


I found this love letter on Bren's Blog a while back and I had to have it. I emailed it to my friends and my family. They were as impressed with it as I was. I guess a lot of us are determined to love others more deeply in the coming year. One gal, a teacher, wrote me that she is placing this on her desk to help her understand her students and to work on her own self. Another, a counselor, wrote me that she is reading it often to love her clients with the love of Jesus. Another girl is a manager and used it in her staff meeting with copies for everyone. My daughter put hers on Facebook.

    I have made several copies of the Love Letter too. It is a wonderful reminder of why HE put us on this earth in the first place.

    That's truly a beautiful reminder. Thanks for sharing sister Mary. Thank you for keeping me in your prayers. It will be a long battle for me but I trust in the Lord knowing it's not mine but His. The cyber cupcakes were delicious but it's awful, I had a total of 5-6 cups of coffee! God bless!

    Wow, Mary - this was great.

    It especially spoke to me as I think about my father. He is getting rather "difficult" in his old age. It was good for me to read some of the reasons for his behavior.

    This is touching, and so true. How quick and how good I can be at judging others according to my standards, forgetting that if I were in their shoes, maybe I would do the same.

Mama's Lipstick

Hitched to a Rough Road

Travis is at it again.  His email revealed a litany of complaints about our neighborhood, our country road, our board officers, bad decisions made that will cost him money , yada-yada-yada . Travis is a Christian brother but you’d never know it.
